I was looking forward to having the photos, but the days and nights were a blur, the shock to the system of little sleep and not even sure what day it was at times. I decided on Heather for my newborn session and I found her to be extremely helpful and friendly from the very first message I sent to her with enquiries. She was always willing to share tips and talked me through the whole process of a session.
Visiting the Studio
The studio was like an Aladdin’s cave of props and colours. It was lovely and warm very relaxing, and I loved sitting back in the old leather comfy chair and being able to enjoy a cup of hot tea, the first in a while, even just time to scroll through social media, which I hadn’t for weeks.
Watching the magic happen
I watch whilst she worked her magic on my 2-week-old baby girl. Patiently posing and getting the perfect position of little things like fingers to make an adorable photo. She never stressed just calmly carried on when Eva stretched or moved. No wonder she has been called the Baby Whisperer. I’ll never forget the sound of that Trill – wow how to calm a baby so quickly!
Eva never seemed to be distressed, in fact she adored being swaddled and looked so cosy and content for her photos. I loved watching her being posed and the photos being taken. We took along a precious teddy given to her by my best friend. She managed to create a gorgeous image with Eva in a teddy outfit with the bear sat next to the bed. This is a unique photo, my friend will treasure.
She then asked if she could take our family together, don’t think J wanted his taking, he just kept saying I don’t take good photos – do you know what he actually loved it when he saw them! I’m so glad we agreed.
We loved our images and the whole experience
We were overjoyed with our photos and we loved our newborn photoshoot experience with baby Eva. Following our order, we received them very quickly. Boxed up in a cute little box with ribbons to match.
We will treasure them forever, thank you for recording a very special time for us as a new family. Time we will never get back. We’ll be back for Eva’s cakesmash.
