Digital Memory boxes – what a great idea!

I have recently delivered a gorgeous newborn gallery to Laura & Tom of their baby Grace.

Over a cuppa, we got talking. Tom told me about the Digital Memory Box that he has created for Grace. Inside the  digital box, there are the details of the pregnancy tests, her first kick, scans plus all the little things you forget about as times goes on.

In my generation, we had a little painted box with the first pair of shoes, a lock of hair, and scan photographs, even first teeth ( to which my daughter thought macabre saving teeth).   Netmums have a great article on what to store in a box have a read of it here.

He has opened an email account in Grace’s name so that every time they have a little timeline memory to record, he sends an email to the account. So never forget that first smile, first steps, first words. Can you think of things you would put into your digital memory box?

Photos and snippets, scan pictures, Grace kicking in Laura’s tummy. I thought this was such a fab idea. Tom’s idea struck such a chord with me. The possibilities are endless, and your memories will be safe forever in your memory box  baby keepsake .
