Coronavirus – The Studio is temporarily closing

I’ve taken the step in the last few days to close the studio for the foreseeable future. Not just to keep myself safe, but more importantly my clients and families.

What’s happening seems so surreal at the minute, changing daily and almost by the minute. Seeing so much posted on social media. Not sure if it’s true or scaremongering. How does it make you feel?  I am almost glued to the news hour after hour it’s like a horror film that I can’t get enough of – and believe me I don’t do horror films!

Spend time together – but remember social distancing will help us all

I do think in times like this we will pull together more… look after each other and older members of our families, take the time to read, have a relaxing coffee, or just chill out and binge watch those favourite programmes.

relaxing time with coffee

I’m sure you have a list of things to do. Yesterday I said to my Hubby “if you’d have said three weeks ago you have all the time in the world to do things that have been on the ‘to-do’ list around the house” I would have snapped your hand off and now we have the time, I feel kinda lost! At one point  in the last few days I asked what the time was – his response (non flippant) was “does it matter”’. Now we have no timeframes around things like watching football, going out or just making tea after work, it really doesn’t matter, does it!

Thank you to all the frontline staff

My heart and admiration goes out to all the workers helping us through these uncertain times, from the NHS staff working tirelessly to keep us all safe, the other emergency services and the supermarket staff working so hard to keep shelves replenished. Like everyone from our generation down, this is like nothing we have seen in our lifetime. I believe we will come through this stronger, it’s just going to take time.

Keep up to date with Government advice here.

I will re-open when the Government guidelines allow, and I will be in touch with all clients that have had their appointments re-scheduled.

Look after yourselves and your loved ones and see you on the other side!
